Didn't previous versions have the ability to perform impersonation?

I seem to remember adding the Domain, UserName and password to options and then clicking use these credentials.

WSS only appears to use the currently logged in user now.

Am I missing something simple?

I have a web service that needs me to enter AuthHeader in the SOAP Request body, but I don't know how to enter these property by using WebServiceStudio.

Here is a screenshot using "Web Service GUI" that could entering AuthHeader in their GUI. Does anyone could tell me how to enter these fields using WebServiceStudio?

I wonder if there is anyone out there has this issue that I run into. I am using WebService Studio 2.02. I click the Get button to get my list of web service methods to call. My list of web methods is very long but unfortunately this list does not appear in alphabetical order. Since the list is long and not ordered in any particular way, it is very difficult for me to find the web method I want to invoke and test. I have to scroll up and down for quite a while until I find it.

Is there a way to get the list ordered? Is it the way I build my web methods causing the list not come out ordered?

I would appreciate your advice on this issue.

The latest source code of Webservice Studio has trouble handling Nullable Type. I created a simple webservice (WCF) with a nullable int in the request. After the tree is rendered in the form, the value field of the nullable variable doesn't take in any value. When try to change the IsNull to false, an error pops up with the following text "Not able to create an Instance of System.Nullable `1[[System.Int32, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, Public....]]". Has anyone looked into this bug?

Havent tried this myself but is this an untyped dataset? If so, it could be failing because untyped datasets dont really have a strong contract that the tool can use when handling the response.

I'm thrilled to see this very useful tool given new life. Is there a particular reason why its packaged as RAR, though? It's not a very convenient compression format.

Hi,
I'am experiencing problem using webmethods with sessionEnabled attribute = true. When I invoke a method which read a session variable, webserviceStudio crashes beacause the server return a null reference exception. It seems that the session varible does'nt exist.

But if I use the sendRequest() method (instead of invoke button), it's working fine.

I didn't unsterstand why it crashes when I use the Invoke button because it's seem that the callback proxy has a CookieContainer object defined.

To do my test, I use a webservice with 2 methods : PutInSession(key,value) and ReadFromSession(key)

If I call PutInSession("A","XX") using invoke button, it's working fine. But after if I call ReadFromSession("A") using invoke button, it crashes.
But, I hit send button (in request/response tab) it's working.

I have not tested the WSS with IIS 7.0 however I believe there are some lock down settings in the application host config file which need to be setup to allow the NTML auth.

%windir%\system32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config

        <windowsAuthentication enabled="true" lockElements="providers">
          <providers>
            <add value="Negotiate" />
            <add value="NTLM" />
          </providers>
        </windowsAuthentication>


Might not be the solution you are looking for though.

I am receiving the following error when trying to consume my webservice locally. I can access the service just fine through my application and IE 7.0, but can't seem to call my service through WSS. I have selected the UseDefaultCreditentials, KeepAlive and AllowAutoRedirect. Anyone have any ideas?
